Arts & Culture In Your Backyard
October 3, 2013
If dinner and a movie just won’t cut it, you’re bound to find entertainment that showcases arts, music, and culture right out your front door. White Rock is a veritable hub of cultural events throughout the year, with theatres, music venues and galleries always afresh with something new.
Upon The Stage
Take a short stroll up Johnston Road and you’ll find yourself at the Coast Capital Playhouse. Home to the White Rock Players Club, this cozy, 218-seat theatre hosts the troupe’s six productions every year. No matter your taste, you’ll find a show that piques your interest—the group performs a mix of contemporary and traditional comedies, dramas, thrillers, and their annual Christmas pantomime. Walk on over, get comfy, and be entertained.
