Aston: 12 townhomes on Oak Street in South Cambie
Aston is a boutique community of 12 townhomes on Oak Street in South Cambie, close to the heart of Vancouver. Completed in 2017 and now sold out, it brings together classic and contemporary design on a small, carefully planned site.
Raymond Letkeman Architects designed Aston as two buildings of six homes, a four-storey building facing Oak Street and a three-storey building behind it, with one level of underground parking below. A white-brick façade with warm wood details gives Aston a look that feels both familiar and fresh. The homes are arranged around a landscaped private courtyard by ETA Landscape Architecture, so every owner has green space just outside the door. Most homes have three bedrooms.
Aston sits near West 38th Avenue, between Flora and Bennett, two more Listraor communities on the same block. Queen Elizabeth Park, the shops at Oakridge Park and the Canada Line are all close by, and Eric Hamber Secondary is a short walk away.
